 Joe Smith, Boone County Hospital CEO, has been selected as the Iowa Hospital Association (IHA) Board of Trustees Chair. In this role, Joe's primary responsibility will be to preside over meetings of the IHA Board, which provides general direction to the Association and ensures its financial viability. There are 21 members of the Board and they meet six times a year. Joe will also serve as Master of Ceremonies (pictured above at the Annual IHA Fall Meeting) at certain IHA events. Joe’s term is for one year.
