Since 1998, Boone County Hospital has shown an increase in market share of 15.4%, significantly larger than most hospitals across the nation. The increase so impressed HealthLeaders magazine, a Nashville publication with a national subscriber base of 40,000, that the magazine highlighted Boone County Hospital as an example of how to successfully maintain and improve market share.
