A Newborn Channel is now available in all patient rooms at Boone County Hospital (BCH). The television programming makes it possible for new parents as well as parents with a sick baby in the hospital to view information on baby care right in their room 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The programming includes up-to-date health and wellness information. Subject content includes topics such as: newborn care, bringing baby home, massaging baby’s stress away, postpartum depression, yoga for moms and their babies, music class for moms and their babies, juggling work and family, back in shape, bath time, and much more. One of the big benefits of the Newborn Channel is the information is constantly updated so BCH patients can be assured that they are getting the latest health and wellness information. Another benefit is the channel is available in both English (Channel 14) and Spanish (Channel 15). “We are so pleased to be able to offer this service to our new parents and parents with a sick baby in the hospital.
