Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience:
1 Year experience preferred.
Duties and Qualifications:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Draws blood from patients in the hospital and community for analysis or other medical purposes. Performs urine drug screen collections in accordance with Federal guidelines. Explains procedures to patient. Regular attendance. Follows infection prevention instruction in phlebotomist’s procedure manual. Follows hospital procedure regarding Standard precautions. Effective communication. Actively supports and participates in continuous quality improvement efforts. Assists with clerical duties in the department. Maintains professional growth and development.
